BHG, owners of the Ellis Preserve, wanted to unify the exterior appearance of their building on the campus. The existing 1970’s era barrel vault skylights had glass that was badly discolored and had turned purple.
Sun-Lite installed 3M™ Scotchcal™ Metallic Grey to the exterior of these skylights to hide the discolored panels and coordinate with spandrel glass on the adjacent buildings. Sun-Lite also installed NV-15 to vertical vision windows to upgrade the energy performance and to coordinate with the color of glass on the other buildings. These improvements in tandem with the other extensive exterior modernization allowed for the lease of the building without costly window replacements.
